BIOGRAPHY
Alison’s love for art was apparent at the age of eighteen months when she drew a “mural” on the wall adjacent to her crib. As a young girl, Alison was always interested in the art of physical transformation and the human form. If you wanted to find Alison, you’d find her in her mother’s bathroom rummaging through her mother’s makeup drawer. Make-up design wasn’t the only art that had caught her attention. Fashion design was another passion she pursued all throughout high school, designing and sewing her own clothing. However, she still had never forgotten her love for make-up. Practicing on friends and family gave Alison the confidence she needed to take a further step in becoming a professional make-up artist.
After graduating from high school, Alison decided to take a year off and take that time to travel and see different parts of the world. Living in Hawaii and different parts of India, she was visually and spiritually inspired by what she had experienced. It gave her a renewed focus on the things she loved and what she wanted to accomplish. She renewed her resolve to become a professional make-up designer. Alison enrolled at MKC Beauty Academy in Los Angeles where she began her education in becoming a make-up artist. Working with nationally recognized artists in the field, she refined her skills and developed a style which is both natural and cutting edge.
